Glasscoat 754 allows operators to focus their attention on fine-tuning various parameters of the I.S. machine and checking bottle quality, rather than on swabbing. This contributes to minimizing the time required to start producing bottles of acceptable quality.
Rather than waiting 10 to 20 minutes to pack the first bottle after a job change, with a good pre-coat, production of bottles of an acceptable quality can usually begin right away assuming that the mould equipment is heated to operating temperature before being put into service.
