SWS - 916 is a ready to use, tire coater, which is especially developed for the protection of white letters on the sidewall of the tires.
IMR-959 is an internal release agent, process aid and lubricant used in formulations to eleminate mold fouling and add mold release properties. It is a mixture of fatty acid derivatives and products of the petrochmistry. IMR-959 can be used as an extender with butyl to eliminate bleed out of process oils.
The use of IMR-959 in cure bladder formulations is designed mainly to reduce the level of process oils and thereby eliminate the migration of materials which interfere with the TAG bladder treatment. Normal recipes call for between 6 and 10 phr of process oil. This should be reduced from the current usage level by 50 to 100% of the oil and than IMR-959 is added at a level of 1 part for every 2 parts of oil removed up to 2% (example remove 6 phr of oil and add 3 phr of IMR-959).
IMR-959 is a solid and it is not extracted from the bladder during the curing of the green tires. Since it remains in the bladder the flex properties are extended which results in longer bladder life. When using IMR-959 the mold fouling will be reduced and mold release will be improved during the manufacting process when molding bladders. Practical trials have shown an improvement of the flow properties, more regular surfaces and a reduction of bloom.

Wrapping on the tire side, radial forces, axial forces, radial geometric irregularities, axial geometric irregularities and conicity.
To get the best possible results in conjunction with uniformity machines the right lubricant has to be choosed!
